St. Clement takes early lead
and pulls away for 45-19 win

      ROCKAWAY TWP. - The St. Clement boys Varsity-B team held St. Peter's to three first-period points and pulled away to a 45-19 victory in an Upper Morris County CYO Basketball League games played at St. Clement's Connery Hall on Sunday, Dec. 5.d
     St. Clement (2-1) led 10-3 after one period and 20-10 at the half before putting the game out of reach with a 13-2 run in the third period.
     Jack Binkoski led all St. Clement scorers with 13 points and Nick Olex was right behind him with 12 points. Mikal Germaine finished with eight points; Ben Levitt and Peter Polumbo each had four points; and Andrew Lomauro and Carl Casperson each had two points to complete the St. Clement offensive production.
     Amir Germaine and Mikal Germaine led the team in rebounding, each finishing with four; Binkoski had three assists and Olex had two to go with his three rebounds; Levitt had St. Clement's only steal of the game.
     St. Clement has a bye week this week and returns to action on Sunday, Dec. 18, with a game against St. Elizabeth of Mount Olive at Mount Olive.
