     ROCKAWAY TWP.  - The 2011 Rockaway Township Summer Baseball Tournament will open play with four games on Monday, June 27, 2011.

     The 13-team tournament features two teams from Rockaway Township, two each from Hanover township and Morristown and one each from Denville, Wharton, Dover, Roxbury, Sparta, Parsippany and Tri-Town (Mountain Lakes, Boonton and Boonton Township).

     Each team is scheduled to play eight or nine games, but that may change due to one of the original teams dropping out.

     Games will be played at either Peterson Field-1, Peterson Field-2 or Marcella Field here in the township.

     At the conclusion of the regular-season schedule, a single-elimination post-season tournament will be held.
