Game Day: The Rockaway Township Wolverines are a 9U boys team that plays in Flight 7 of  the Morris County Youth Soccer Association.

 
Pencak, Kopeld, Tanis goals
too much for Summit, 3-0

    ROCKAWAY TWP.  - The four-goalie rotation of Owen Tanis, Collin Gill, Edie Haag and Ronen Adler combined for a shutout when the Rockaway Township Wolverines U9 boys travel soccer team defeated Summit Arsenal, 3-0, in a Morris County Youth Soccer Association game played at Summit on Sunday, May 1, 2011.

    Tanis, Gill and Adler each recorded three saves and Haag stopped four shots on goal for the Wolverines. Defender Dominic Reardon saved the shutout when he cleared away a Summit shot that was headed for the net.
    Pavlo Pencak, Mike Kopeld and Tanis scored the goals for the winners, with Kopeld's goal a corner kick that he bent into the Summit goal. Riley Van Orden and Haag each chipped in with assists.
    The win give the Wolverines a season record of two wins and a tie against no losses.

Busel's two first-half goals spark Wolverines, 8-1

    ROCKAWAY TWP. - Jeremy Busel scored two first-half goals and six of his teammates added one each when the Rockaway Township Wolverines U9 boys travel soccer team defeated the West Morris Jaguars, 8-1, in a Morris County Youth Soccer Association game played at Chubb Park in Chester on Saturday, April 30, 2011.
    Owen Tannis, Collin Gill, Dyhlan Weicerzak, Pavlo Pencak, Tyler Johnson and Eddie Haag each scored single goals for the Woverines, who now have one win and one tie in Flight 7.
    Riley Van Oren and Busel split the goaltending duties for the Woverines, with Van Oren stopping a penalty shot in the first half and Busel stopping a point-blank shot in the second half.
    Tyler Johnson and Dyan Kaye anchored a strong defensive effort that gave Van Oren and Busel plenty of protection.
    The Wolverines' next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 1, against the Summit Arsenal at Summit. The game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.

Pencak's goal give Wolverines 1-1 tie vs. Montville
    ROCKAWAY - Pavlo Pencak's goal was the only score of the game for the Rockaway Township Wolverine's U9 boys travel team in a 1-1 deadlock with the Montville Gunners in a Morris County Youth Soccer Association game played at Montville Community Park on Saturday, April 10.
    Pencak was assisted by Dylan Kaye on the goal.
    The Wolverines used a three-goalie rotation for the game with Mike Kopeld, Austin McCaffrey and Owen Tanis stopping all but one shot they faced.
