ROCKAWAY TWP. - Vanessa Hartkopf-Vadillo scored the first of her two goals three minutes into the game when the Rockaway Township Renegades U10 girls travel team upset the previously unbeaten Morris United Firecrackers, 2-1, in a Morris County Youth Soccer Association game played at Frelinghuysen School Field in Morris Township on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
The Firecrackers are now 4-3-1 (wins, ties, losses) and hold down first place in Flight Four of the U10 age group standings by two points over the West Essex Wildcats. The Renegades have three wins against five losses for the season and are fifth in the six-team flight.
Ayla Lopez assisted on both Renegade goals and Lily Kass played the entire game in goal and finished with nine saves.
Carly Stanulis, Jessicas Rosenski, Julianna Aliprandi and Ally McDonnell "... contributed heavily toward our big victory with their solid play throughout the game," according to Renegade head coach Teri Rosenski.
The Renegades next game is scheduled for Sunday, June 12, against the East Hanover Hawks at the Rockaway Townquare Mall Field at 1:30 p.m.

Lopez scores twice in 7-2 loss to Bridegewater United
ROCKAWAY TWP. - Ayla Lopez scored both goals when the Rockaway Township Renegades U10 girls travel team lost a 7-2 decision to the Bridgewater United Strikers in a Morris County Youth Soccer Association game played at Chimney Rock Field in Bridgewater on Sunday, June 5, 2011.
Ally McDonnell and Lily Kass split the goaltending duties for the Renegades with McDonnell stopped seven shots on goal and Kass finishing with five saves.
Ally Bianchi was "... effective both offensively and defensively," and Carly Stnullis had "... an outstanding day in goal," according to Renegade head coach Teri Rosenski.

Lopez scores two goals in 5-4 Renegade victory
ROCKAWAY TWP. - Ayla Lopez scored two goals and Ally Bianchi, Cassidy Kohler and Jessica Rosenski each scored once when the Rockaway Township Renegades U10 girls travel soccer team beat the East Hanover Hawks, 5-4, in a Morris County Youth Soccer Association game played at Lurker Park in East Hanover on Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Ally (Mac) McDonnell was in goal for the entire game for the Renegades and finished with seven saves.
"Ally had a great game and came very close to stopping a penalty shot, too," said Renegades head coach Teri Rosenski after the game. "Julianna Aliprandi and Carly Stanulis had solid games on defense in support of their goalie and were often able to drive the ball out of our territory.
"On offense, Vanessa Hartkopf-Vadillo, Lily Kass and Portia Sarkar did a nice job in moving the ball into scoring territory for our goal scorers."
The Renegades have two games this weekend, starting with a 2 p.m. game on Saturday, May 7, against the West Essex Wildcats at the Mall Field at the Townsquare Mall here in the township. On Sunday, they travel to Frelinghuysen Field in Morris Township for a 1:30 p.m. game against the Morris United Firecrackers.

Renegade second-half rally falls short in loss to Wolverines
ROCKAWAY TWP. - Alyla Lopez scored a goal and Jessica Rosenski scored on a penalty kick in the second half, but the Rockaway Township Renegades 10U girls travel soccer team's rally fell short in a 4-2 loss to the West Morfris Wolverines in a Morris County Youth Soccer Association game played at the Townsquare Mall Field here in the township on Satgurday, April 30, 2011.
Rosenski's penalty kick came after she moved the ball from the Renegade side of the field into scoring range where she was fouled. Ally Bianchi got an assist on Lopez' goal and Ayla Lopez had three quality shots on goal that were stopped by the West Morris keeper.
Lily Kass and Bianchi shared the goaltending duties for the Renegades and finished with a combined nine saves.
"Although we lost the game, I'm very pleased with the way our girls pulled together and made the game competitive in the second half," said Renegade head coach Teri Rosenski after the game. "Jenna Sedita and Portgia Sarkar had solid games up front; Cassidy Kohler fought hard for the ball all game; and Julianna Aliprandi and Carly Stanulis each played well on defense."
