These ex-RockDen Lacrosse Lady Renegade players not only went on to play for their respective high schools after leaving the Rockaway Township/Denville youth lacrosse program, they are also playing summer lacrosse with the West Jersey Lacrosse Club. The ladies competed in the Lax by the Sea Lacrosse Tournament in New Egypt on Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13, and will be playing in the Nation Draw Tournament at Marlton on June 26-27 and the Upper Atlantic Tournament at Downington, Pa., on July 10-11. Ex-Lady Renegade Shipley

 leads college team in scoring

       Molly Shipley, a graduate from the RockDen Lady Renegades Lacrosse program who played her high school lacrosse at Morris Catholic High School in Denville, completed her first season of college lacrosse recently as her team's leading scorer.
       Shipley, a freshman midfielder at Washintgon (Md.) College, started all 15 games and scored a team-leading 31 goals and added five assists for a team-leading 36 points. She also led the team in groundballs with 28.
       Shipley was one of two Washington players and one of only two freshman league-wide to be named to the Centenial Conference's All-Star team at the conclusion of the season.
        Washington College finished the season with an 8-7 record, the first time in six years the squad has had a record better than .500.
