Brnic, the woman's champion in 2009, finished 16th overall and was third woman, behind Maria Danna of Morris Plains (third overall) and Mary Christian of Flanders (14th overall).

Bobby, who played and coached baseball at Knolls, was diagnosed with leukemia last year and some of the proceeds of the 2009 race went to help pay for treatments. On Race Day this year, he announced his leukemia is in remission and he competed in the race.

Cygon owns Power Play Gaming in Denville and donated many of the prizes awarded to winners of the youth and MK students age-group categories.
