In Saturday's game at Holmdel, the Diamonds scored the only goal of the first half but then came out strong with four second-half goals to remain unbeaten at 4-0 in JAGS competition. Kruger broke into the scoring column when her 35-yard free kick (following a foul on Alexandra Rankin) soared over the Striker keeper's head and into the back of the net. Rankin accounted for the final Diamond goal when she fielded yet another Krueger corner and drove it into the back of the net. Jackie Nelson, Elana Figueroa and Krueger all spent time in goal for the Diamonds and were helped out by the solid defensive work of Shannon Gleeson, Rachel Voigt and Katie Weber. Gohsler had a good chance when she got a head on a Krueger corner only to see the ball sail just over the crossbar. Shots by Dina Sheira, Katz and Krueger were stopped by the Old Bridge keeper.
