DENVILLE - The Morris Knolls High School football program paid tribute to its seniors at a dinner and ceremony held in the school cafeteria and auditorium on Monday, the last day of November.
"We had a great group of senior leaders this year," said head football coach Bill Regan. "They all have exceptional character and were good examples both on and off the field.

"Our seniors are dedicated to the program, the team and their teammates and set a fine example for the players coming back to follow."

Regan and his fellow assistant coaches took turns in presenting each member of the senior class to the audience and talking about their contributions to the team and to the program the past four years.
The seniors on the 2009 team included Kevin Corley, Padric Hartnett, Connor Mariani, George Murden, Chris Quadrel, Dylan Rimsky, Connor Rush, Mark Spano, Matt Trivigno and Kevin Weis.
The team dinner was prepared and served by Potbelly's Riverside Cafe of Rockaway and it has been reported that not one bit of food was left over and that the meatballs were a particularly huge hit with the players.
