Micro nips Amscot in OT
to win girls 5-6 rec title

DENVILLE - Micro Strategies defeated Amscot Structural Products, 21-20, in overtime to win the championship game in the Denville PAL 5-6 grade girls rec basketball league.
Micro Strategies was coached by Doug Knapp and Christine Fitzsimmons. The Micro Strategies roster included Shannon Fitzsimmons, Alyssa Knapp, Kalli Licopantis, Maggie Pietrucha, Alexandrea Carlson, Margaux Rustad, Sarah Jameson, Abigail Schlein, Alexa Walsh and Jayme Drucker.
Amscot Structural Products was coached by Tom Hoffman and Scott Dixon.
In the consolation game to determine third place, Strategic Family Wealth defeated MetLife, 11-9. Startegic Family Wealth is coached by Joe LaRiccia and Joe DosSantos while MetLife is coached by Steve Testa and Paul Nigro.
Adrianna DosSantos won the free-throw shooting contest in the girls 5-6 grade competition. Shefaili Kumar finished in second place and Jenna Racaniello placed third.
