The Denville PAL Demons 7th grade girls basketball travel team defeated Rockaway Township, 41-31, to win the Passaic Valley Basketball League championship for the 2010-11 season. The Demons finished the season with a league record of 13-2 and an overall mark of 15-4. The team was made of of starters Bridget Francisco, Sophie Fischer, Giaci Vitolo, Caroline Sceurman; Julia Buckingham and Danielle Willis were the first players off the bench; and newcomers to the team who supplied solid backup included Kelly Huber, Katie Atkinson and Morgan Mahon. Gene Francisco was the head coach of the Demons and Joe Sceurman
was the assistant coach.
