HPBS sets first golf-dinner event for Farmstead G&C in August

The Hispanic Professionals' Business Solution (HPBS) will hold its first golf outing at Farmstead Golf & Country Club in Lafayette on Friday, August 19, 2011. Golf will start at noon and an awards dinner will follow at 5 p.m. Non-golfers may attend only the dinner if they wish to do so. Rockaway Township FOP #31 sets annual outing June 20 -
ROCKAWAY TWP. - The Rockaway Township Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #31 will hold its annual golf outing on Monday, June 20, 2011, at the Picatinny Golf Club here in the township. Registration fees are $125 a golfer if paid by June 1; $135 for each golfer who signs up after June 1 but before June 20; and $150 for each golfer who registers on the day of the outing - if there is space is available. Each registration fee includes a golfer gift pack, BBQ lunch before the round, 18 holes of golf with shared cart, on-course beverages, hole-in-one contests, one-hour open bar and a buffet dinner at the end of the round, and door prizes. Golfers are asked to check in between 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 on the day of the outing. Golf begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start. Proceeds from the outing benefit the Lodge #31 scholarship fund which provides scholarships to one senior each from Morris Hills High School and Morris Knolls High School who plan on attending college and majoring in Criminal Justice. Rockaway Twp. Fire Dept. to hold its outing July 25 -
ROCKAWAY TWP. -- The
Rockaway Township Fire Department has scheduled its annual golf outing
for Monday, July 25, 2011, at the Picatinny Golf Club, here in the
township. Registration fees are $125 a golfer if paid by July 1;
$135 for each golfer who signs up after July 1 but before June 25; and
$150 for each golfer who registers on the day of the outing - but only
if there is space is available. Each registration fee includes a
golfer gift pack, BBQ lunch before the round, 18 holes of golf with
shared cart, on-course beverages, hole-in-one contests, one-hour open
bar and a buffet dinner at the end of the round, and door prizes.
Golfers are asked to check in between 10:45 a.m. and 11:45 on the day

from the outing benefit the Rockaway Township Fire Department
scholarship fund which provides scholarships to active members who are
seniors in High School or sons and/or daughters of active members who

MK Football Boosters set annual golf outing -
DENVILLE - The Morris Knolls High School Football Boosters Club will hold its fifth annual Walt Stasiak Memorial Golf Outing on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Farmstead Golf & Country Club in Lafayette. The registration fee of $135 for each golfer includes golf with cart, lunch, dinner, entries into various contests and prizes. ROCKAWAY - The Morris Hills High School Gridiron Club will hold its seventh annual golf outing on Friday, June 24, 2011, at the Minebrook Golf Club in Hackettstown. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon followed by dinner at 5 p.m. The money raised will be used to provide equipment, uniforms and other necessary items not included in the school budget for the Morris Hills football teams. The cost to participate is $125 per person or $500 for a foursome. The Gridiron Club is also looking for hole sponsors ($75), cart sponsors ($25) as well as donations of gift certificates, prizes, etc. to be raffled off at the event. Rockaway Township Soccer sets golf-dinner for May 14 -
ROCKAWAY TWP. - The Rockaway Township Soccer Association Booster Club has scheduled its first Golf Outing & Dinner event for Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Minebrook Golf Club in Hackettstown to help raise funds for all age groups within the RTSA soccer program. The golf outing will be a scramble format with a noon shotgun start followed by a 5 p.m. steak/buffet dinner and program that includes awards, prizes and raffles. Rain date is Sunday, May 15. The registration fee of $150 for each golfer includes green fees, cart, golfer gift bag, lunch and dinner. Foursomes can be registered for $500 and the fee for those who wish to attend only the dinner program is $50. Golfer and non-golfers can register online by visiting the association's Web site at www.RTSA.org. The RTSA Booster Club is also seeking sponsors and advertisers for the outing and offer a variety of display options for company and business owners. The RTSA was established in 1973 and continues to offer quality training programs for soccer players from pre-K through high school age. The program provides clinic, recreation and travel playing opportunities. Training programs are geared toward developing the entire player, including teaching good sportsmanship on and off the field, leadership skills, fundamentals of soccer, strategy of the game and fun on the field! All proceeds from the golf outing will help the RTSA program - which includes almost 1,000 players, coaches and volunteers - purchase new equipment, further train for our young players and to aid in the expansion and maintenance of our fields in the future. 'Coming Home Rescue' sets golf outing June 6

ROCKAWAY - Coming Home Rescue, an organization that finds suitable homes for dogs in need, has scheduled its second annual benefit golf outing for Monday, June 6, 2011, at Picatinny Golf Club. The golf outing package costs $160 for each golfer and includes green fees, cart, barbecue lunch, cocktail hour, dinner reception, prizes and a raffle. The fee for those who register before Friday, May 6, is $150. Non-golfers can purchase a dinner-only ticket for $55. All proceeds from the outing go directly to Coming Home Rescue. Morris Youth Rugby: Mike Stumpf (left to right), Chris Walsh, Simon Barley and Kevin Taunton were among the golfers who played in the Morris County Rugby Club's golf outing that raised funds for the club's youth rugby program. Stumpf and Barley are youth coaches in the rugby program and Walsh, Stumpf and Barley still play in the club's Masters Division. Needless to say, a good time was had by all at the outing, which was held at the Bear Brook County Club in Newton on Friday, June 4, 2010.
