ROCKAWAY TWP. - The Rockaway Township Nationals 11/12 All-Star team opened Pool A play in the 2011 District One Little League Tournament with a 13-0 loss to Morristown American at Ginty Field in Morristown on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
    Next up for the RT-Nationals is a 7 p.m. game on Sunday, June 26, against Madison at Marcella Field here in the township.
    The Nationals will conclude their pool competition with a 7 p.m. game against RT-American at Peterson Field on Wednesday, June 29, and a 6 p.m. game against Rockaway Borough at Harry K. Smith Memorial Field on Friday, July 1.
    The top two teams from each of the four pools in District One will meet in an eight-team, double-elimination competition that will determine the district champion.
    Gary Lomauro, John Clementoni and Bill Nieman coach the team that is made up of players Bryce Carpenter, Matthew Clementoni, Chris Conway, Connor Gallagher, David Heeren, Brandon Hurt, Greg Jones,  Jerry Katz, Dylan Lesch, Andrew Lomauro, Billy Nieman and Kevin Nienhouse.
